Discover what was once Britains best kept secret
Bletchley Park in Buckinghamshire was Britain's main decryption establishment during World War 2. Ciphers and codes of several Axis countries were decrypted including, most importantly , those generated by the German Enigma and Lorenz machines.
What to See
Step back in time at Bletchley Park and enjoy highly atmospheric soundscapes playing snatches of conversation, music, laughter and even a hint of romance, as well as the noises of bicycle bells and steam trains to conjure up how it would have sounded during World War Two. The landscape has been restored to its WW2 appearance for you to explore, experience and enjoy.
